I’ve been photographing people and their stories for more than 12 years, and somewhere along the way I realised that the photographs I love most sit somewhere between real life and art.

​

My style blends honest, documentary storytelling with an editorial eye, the tiny glances, windswept veils and people you love being completely themselves, alongside beautiful portraits that deserve a place on your walls.

​

I want your photographs to feel timeless, thoughtful and unmistakably yours.

​

And while beautiful photographs are obviously a pretty big part of the job, I care just as much about the experience you have getting them.

I’ll give you direction when you need it (because what do I do with my hands? is a very real problem), and step back when you don’t.

I’ll fix the veil, notice the crooked necklace, wrangle the family, find the beautiful light, calm the nerves and probably remind you to eat something.

And I’ll always go the extra mile; Not because it makes for a better photograph, but because after more than a decade of doing this, I genuinely care about the people who trust me with their memories.

​

When I’m not behind a camera, you’ll find me on our little property in the Macedon Ranges with my family, far too many animals and usually dirt under my fingernails. I’m also an award winning horticulturist, life-long gardener and flower grower, so there’s a very good chance I’ll notice your bouquet almost as quickly as I notice the light.

​

I photograph weddings, families, and births, along with select small businesses, and I’m always up for travelling somewhere wonderful to tell a story.

​
